Students will be introduced to the anatomical structures involved with the head and neck. Bones of the face and skull, muscles of the oral cavity and surrounding tissues, and nerve and blood supply avenues will be covered. Students will become familiar with anatomical landmarks related to dentistry Upon completion of this introductory course in dental radiology, each student will be able to: Identify normal anatomical landmarks in periapical, bitewing, occlusal, and panoramic radiographs.
